Such Things feels like the most complete representation of the band so far.

Every Open Eye is an album of pure ecstasy, one that settles in our ears and blocks the rest of the troubles of the world around us.

Loma Prieta are just another example of a sonically different experience within a hardcore spectrum. Their sound ranges and exhibits an extreme range of diversity throughout their fifth album, Self Portrait.

Try as they might Fit For An Autopsy are not breaking new grounds with this album, but they’re walking this well treaded land so well it doesn’t matter. If you like deathcore, death metal, djent, this is an album you need to hear. 

All four tracks on this debut EP from the Toledo trio display a wide range of ability and mood - each as compelling as the next. After the controversy and obstacles the band has overcome in the past year, this EP feels like the first in a line of many triumphs for a very deserving band. 

That's where I sit right now with this album, endlessly keeping the repeat on as all five tunes drown out the world. 

My feelings change with the seasons, and while autumn is my favorite, there’s something about the weather and overall atmosphere that makes me feel a bit detached from my surroundings.
