Cicala, one of the most original post-country bands formulating that genre, are gearing up to release their self titled third LP. The Big Easy are the house band playing weekly in the dive bar of my dreams. On A Long Year, the struggle to make it through each situation is presented so physically you can’t help but let the dirty, over-torqued guitars wash over you and just… deal with it. But, you deal with it by dancing.

On October 23, 2012, one of the most highly regarded prospects of the UK pop-punk scene, Basement, released Colourmeinkindness. Despite the band's surprising hiatus, the record cemented Basement's status as a foundational band to that current wave of grungey emo. Now, over 8 years later, Colourmeinkindess still holds up.

Spain's Llacuna are dropping a new video for their emo gem,"L'altra cara de l'Albera". The track is a perfect example of the technical instrumentals, group vocals, punk grit, and FUN, that are such a big part of the band's energy and sound.
