Video Premiere: Cicala – Truck Stop

Cicala, one of the coolest and most original post-country bands out there (so much so that their last LP was titled Post Country), are gearing up to release their self titled third LP. If you’ve never listened to Cicala, imagine what the sad cowboy emoji sounds like, and you’re pretty spot-on.
Alternately, scroll down and check out “Truck Stop,” the first single from Cicala. The album isn’t out until January 5, but we’ve got an exclusive premiere of the opening track below. It’s a bluesy, swaggering, horn-laden song about truck stops and Taco Bells. That is to say, it’s incredible, and it has a video that is equally relateable and calming.
