Tyler hits us with his 30 favorite releases of the year!

Chatterbot Records have become the label I really wanted in the DIY scene. Continuing their run of winning releases, they've put together a holiday compilation of covers and originals that features tracks from many Chatterbot artists and friends!

After a year of arduous touring and general growth, Tranquility return stronger than ever with their new single ‘Harder Now.’ The song’s visuals (directed by Kinkade Ruppert) show the group standing amid a flood of memories.

The UK's Orchards recently dropped the new video for their track "Age of You" off their Losers/Lovers EP on Big Scary Monsters. "Age of You" is a good example of their sound which combines the rhythmic sharpness of mathier indie bands, with the smooth jazzy vocals of vocalist Lucy Evers.

Combining dark truths with catchy punk instrumentals proves to be a winning combination for Drug Church on 'Cheer', both because it makes for great music and for a wider reach for these ideas on these crucial topics.

Every line on this album begs to be relistened and investigated. It rewards listeners who take the time to ponder every choice, meaning, and feeling.

Algernon Cadwallader never got huge, but they might be one of the most important bands of the 2000's because of how many kids they inspired to keep doing the thing. Their albums are getting repressed, and now's a perfect chance to get listening. Chris and a bunch of your favorite bands wrote about Algernon's influence on their lives.

"65 Nickels" is another full on jam and a perfect example of what they do best. By the end of the track you'll find yourself yelling, "I've got 65 nickels in my pocket / For everything you put me through" at whoever as wronged you most recently. Check out the new video.

IAN SWEET is a godsend to everyone who falls into seasonal depression or cynical self-evaluation. As heavy and direct the record is both in musicality and lyricism, Medford does give some sort of remedy to those experiencing the same strife.

Pool Kids craft waves of intensity and emotion on “Erso,” the single from their latest release, Music to Practice Safe Sex To. The mathy Florida four-piece performs the song in our latest AGL live session and its a fierce combination of evocative instrumentation and unmistakable attitude.

Not every song needs to be a deeply emotional and introspective endeavor. Sometimes you just want to listen to silly tracks about snack foods. That's where TOP nachos shine.

Following their 2016 Uzi EP, Twin Drugs has teamed up with Flesh & Bone Records to release Hi-Pressure, a 6 song EP on January 18th. Today we're streaming the first single from that EP, "Even If You Are".
