WATERMEDOWN is just getting started. The youthful vigor can be heard in the reckless energy of the EP. Somewhere Sleepless is the flowing stream of conscious from the mind of a young musician who is ready to take on the world.

I could talk about this record for days and days, but reviewing it is very difficult; Harmlessness is the most personally involved listen of the year, and it’s brilliance is rooted in the listener.

It's hard to sit here and describe just what Household can sound like. Blistering guitar riffs meet spastic drums patterns added to desperate pleas for life to take notice. Don't sleep on this album, because Time Spent is one that can drive home plenty of familiarity but with an extra grace of energy.

The entirety of Doe Paoro's music presents itself as a mystical experience. It is almost in the same realm of meeting a new person and being blown away at everything they say, do and think. Within seconds of starting any of the ten songs found on After one can feel a pull away from the complex randomness of life, instead whisked away into a delicate massage of ambience.

Black Wing is an ambitious digital release from a place that many of us never want to find ourselves connecting with. That is what makes the aura of ...Is Doomed welcoming in the madness of it all. 

Terence Lee, also known as Lifeformed, is a chillwave/electronic artist based out of Portland, Oregon. His tunes are prolific as far as electronic goes, moving fluidly from upbeat, hip-hop rhythms, to slow burning soundscapes that make you want to lay on a Tempur-Pedic in a warm bath. Nice, right?  The electronic genre, in my opinion, has more shit than gold, and Lifeformed is an absolute gem.

Phantasmagoric is marked by it's individuality.

Considering this is only the sophomore release from Better Off, I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the rest of their career. This is a phenomenal album with back-to-back bangers that are sure to build a well-deserved reputation for the band.

Panic Stations is an enjoyable experience from front to back. It's an LP not full of cheap love songs or uncanny, repetitive break up songs. Motion City Soundtrack is back, and I am just happy the album has character enough to quench the thirst of fans alike.

It's times like these that Tesseract still are that inventive band from 2011.

Rapidassembly may not be Noside’s magnum opus, but it is a thoroughly enjoyable step in the right direction.

Upon my first listen to the new Safety EP I was struck with familiar sounds. Congratulate Me, I've Lost My Mind is five tracks stretching 17 minutes. The songs are not genre bending, but rather momentum growing for a smaller act such as this.
