Meth. joined the scene in 2017 with a tenacious ep that ripped through songs like Daughters used to. Full of spazzy guitarwork and in-the-pocket drumming led by a tempestuous vocalist that broadens the band’s scope not only sonically, but also visually with an erratic and unpredictable stage presence, Meth. are a force to be reckoned with. As shown on their 2018 effort I Love You, the band creeps into new territory with the blending of panic chord blast beats with slower, broodier segments. The members are masters of controlled chaos, and our guest contributor Michael captured that energy perfectly.
