One of Pittsburgh’s latest and greatest contributions to the DIY emo music community, Same, first released their phenomenal debut EP “Weird As Hell” back in August of last year. Currently, the album is only available for download, streaming (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.), and in CD format (you can purchase that here.) The band has just announced that they will be releasing the album on cassette for the first time through Head2Wall Records from Columbus, Ohio.

Here’s what the band had to say about the release:

“After having Weird as Hell out for a few months now, we’re really excited to be working with Head2Wall to make this come out in a physical form. We spent a lot of time putting together a layout with some more images that we made with Heredwelling (http://heredwelling.com/) for the album cover, so we can’t wait for people to see more of those with this cassette release. We’re stoked to be able to join the ranks of some awesome Pittsburgh bands on the label as well, like Yrs, Mange, and Fake Grave.”

In addition to new extended art, the tape will feature an exclusive acoustic recording of “Blurry Legs”.

Cassettes will be available for purchase here.

The band is also heading out on a short spring tour in April, check out the dates below.
