Video Premiere: Ultra-Lite – “Ex Ex Ex”

Posted: by The Editor

Philly-based alt rockers Ultra-Lite put out one of the year’s best debuts with their rollicking Moldy EP this summer. Pulling from grunge and emo equally, the band lands somewhere between Microwave and Modern Baseball, whose bassist Ian Farmer mastered the tape. The best track on Moldy is the closing “Ex Ex Ex,” which best blends their more melodic tendencies with their crunchy, full riffs. Today we’re excited to bring an exclusive premiere of the video for that song.

Frontman Dave Hurban says, “This video was filmed at our first show with any music released as a full band. It felt so good for us to play the songs we worked on all summer, and for them to be so well received. We were all feeding off the energy in the room.” Check out the “Ex Ex Ex” video below, and see below a flyer for the band’s show with Scranton’s Pay for Pain.
