Video Premiere: No Trigger – “Brainwashed”

No Trigger should need no introduction. The release of their comeback album Dr. Album this past August after a decade of silence might well be the biggest event in punk all year. It’s got that classic melodic hardcore around the turn of the century vibe–it’s just begging to be played in a skate park.
And we’re happy to premiere the video for one of the record’s standout tracks, the ska-tinged “Brainwashed.” The video is a real trip. Drummer Jono Diener shares that “The song is a combination of our singer being forced into religion at a young age, discovering punk rock and starting to question things, then eventually getting into acid during a time when he was losing his mind during lockdown… as you can tell from the visuals.”
