Super short songs usually result in one of two reactions: either a desperate, “that’s it??” or a disappointed, “oh…that’s it?” You either want twice as much or are so underwhelmed that you’d rather forget about it and move on. “Prom Weekend,” the lead single from the New Bushwick trio steve.‘s new EP “Drunk @ Brunch,” is a one-minute ripper that’s messy, dizzying and over way too quickly, just like an inebriated first meal of the day should be. It’s like Snowing meets early Joyce Manor and it’s a great teaser for the four-song EP out 7/3 via Little Game Records.
