We’ve been fans of Alaskan band Granddad for a few years now and have watched them develop their brash in your face DIY punk sound. This development has increased as the band has been hard at work since relocating to Minnesota. Now that they’re smack dab in the middle of the US, they’ve been touring more than ever and are soon to release a new album Quitter. Today we are happy to premiere the title track.

Written during their hectic year of relocation, Quitter captures post-graduate worries, indecision in love, sexuality, and personal growth. The album is full of hooks, guitars, and confessional lyricism and this track is a perfect example of all that goodness.

Take a listen to the track below.

Quitter will be released digitally August 17th by Brace Cove Records. You can preorder it here.
