Track Premiere: Graduation Speech — ‘Ourselves’

You might know Kevin Day as the vocalist for the New Jersey pop-punk group Aspiga, but perhaps you were unaware that he also performs solo as Graduation Speech. He’s gearing up to release his sophomore EP under that name, titled Maintenance Required. It’s out November 8 via Black Numbers, but today we’re bringing you an exclusive stream of the EP’s lead single.
“Ourselves” still has the singalong jaunt of Day’s main project, but the distorted chords and the drum fills are replaced by twinkling keys and acoustics. If you like what you hear, be sure to preorder the EP and catch Day on tour:
