Track Premiere: Cliffdiver – “Cameron Diaz”

“Maybe you should write this down, I feel like there’s still time to get it right.” Jazzy saxophone melodies isn’t always expected from a pop punk but on their new single, Cameron Diaz, Cliffdiver creates an optimistic that reflects the clarity that comes with doing better.

The band’s new EP, At Your Own Risk,  recorded with Seth Henderson (Real Friends, Knuckle Puck), is focused around frontperson Joey Duffy’s search for a healthier way to cope with his bi-polar disorder. Together, all the songs paint a picture of what it’s like to go through this process. “When making this record it was important to me to not ignore or minimalize the lows of dealing with mental health issues, but at the same time offer a message of hope,” Duffy explains. “We want people who are struggling to know they aren’t alone.”
