Today we’re premiering the debut single from NJ’s Brewster, the new project of Mark Bucci from ManDancing. The single will be released as part of a double a-side on 8/3 on cassette by Great Grief, the debut release by the NJ based label started by Matteo from Toy Cars. Firsts on firsts on firsts, and a bunch of Jersey DIY cred between them. None of this would matter if the track wasn’t good. Luckily, it’s legit.
.
“Bird In An Airport” starts off with some jangley 90’s rock guitar, as vocalist, Mark Bucci, lays some calming vocals over the top, along with some well placed oooh’s. The combination brings to mind Wilco, Yo La Tengo, and Kurt Vile, and a catchy hook brings it all together.

Take a listen to “Bird In An Airport” below, and be on the lookout for more releases from Brewster and Great Grief in the near future.
