Song Premiere: Wolves & Wolves & Wolves & Wolves – “Hey Run Away”

North Carolina’s Wolves & Wolves & Wolves & Wolves (WolvesX4) are getting ready to release their new full-length, CurseCurseCurse. We have the exclusive premiere on the opening track “Hey Run Away.” The new track “is a letter to my younger self,” says singer/guitarist Brian Woodall. “It’s pretty well known I’m a recovering Christian and I’ve written about it a handful of times before, this was a much more personal take. I’ve sat through countless sermons, had hands laid on and prayers in multiple tongues said over me, lain face first at countless altars begging to feel anything close to what those around me said they felt. Nothing. I’ve seen greed, judgment, calloused hearts, and I’ve also seen some good people in the church, but I don’t think their goodness was because of a cross around their neck or a book in their hands. Question what’s presented as absolute fact with nothing to back it up except itself.”

CurseCurseCurse is the follow up to their 2016 LP, The Cross and the Switchblade. If you’ve been around the punk scene for a while, you’re sure to have heard of WolvesX4. The punk band was established back in 2008, and while it has gone through a fair share of lineup changes, brothers Brian and Kyle Woodall have kept their tenancy and with it, established the band’s sound.

CurseCurseCurse will be available on April 7th via A-F Records.
