Premiere: The Weak Days / Foxy Dads – ‘Sweet.’ Split
Posted: by admin
Foxy Dads and The Weak Days are 2 of the most interesting bands in the East Coast DIY world at the moment. The two bands have differing sounds, but the compliment each other well. Foxy Dads writes catchy confessional indie synth pop and really showcased their songwriting ability on last year’s LP, Songs from the LIRR. The Weak Days have more of a pop punk sound, and released a record Tight that was chock full of fresh ideas and cool featured artists from around the punk world.
Now both bands have come together to release a 4 track split on Chatterbot Records this Friday in preparation for their tour together down to play FEST in Florida later this month. Lucky for us, we get to premiere that for you today! Each band’s 2 tracks give a little taste of what they have to offer.
Take a listen to the split below:
Sweet right? hehe. You can catch both bands live on their upcoming tour. Check out dates below:
The split is out Friday on Chatterbot Records, and there will be tapes for sale on their upcoming tour. You can preorder the record now on Bandcamp.
