New Show Format Headed Your Way

Most shows have the same format, opener, opener, headliner. It’s about time somebody tries to mix that up and “playlist” shows might be just the thing. How a playlist type show works is a little different. In the founder Gabe Gordon’s own words: “the artists rotate playing one song at a time, making selections based on the music played before them and the vibe in the space.” Definitely an interesting concept.
There have been a few playlist showcases so far and another one is this Saturday November 5 at JACK arts space in Brooklyn with the bands Arc Waves, Daphne, and Sleeples performing. Check out the event below and give these playlist shows a try sometime.
