Photography + Review: Elderbrook

English electronic and dance artist Elderbrook brought his DJ set to the Royale this past Thursday. The night started out with support from EREZ and a set from ford. Both artists set the energetic tone for the rest of the night and got the Boston crowd dancing! Elderbrook took the stage around the 10:30 mark, opening his set amidst strobes and a light show that followed the music with each beat. His set was effortlessly crafted, with a mix of both instrumental tracks as well as a few that occasionally showed off his singing voice. Each song seemed to flow right into one another, fully capturing everyone’s attention. We walked to the back of crowd and were able to fully absorb the fun and carefree vibe that his music created throughout the audience. People dancing in groups, with partners, or even by themselves filled both levels of the venue, and there were no signs of stopping as the night continued. As of today, Elderbrook has 13 stops remaining on his North American tour, as well as performances at Coachella to round out the tour in April. We highly recommend checking him out if you’re looking for something fun to do one night over the next few weeks!
