Photography: MUNA with Meet Me @ The Altar

While the track “Pink Chiffon” with Phoebe Bridgers catapulted MUNA as an indie-pop mainstay with its release last year, they’ve got years of releasing tender, heartfelt songs about love, loss, and growth under their belts dating back to their first release, About U in 2017. And the fact that they’ve gone from selling out the 400-capacity venue The Basement East in February to selling out Marathon Music Works, three times the size, just months later is a testament to their talent. From their high energy start with “What I Want” to slower tracks like “Pink Light” and “Loose Garment,” the crowd held on to every word and immersed themselves in each quiet moment. Check out Lindsy’s photos from their show with support from Meet Me @ The Altar.
