It feels like just yesterday I was watching Lauv open at a local music club to less than 300 hundred people and now I’m watching him play to a sold out crowd at the House of Blues two nights in a row. Since the release of his first project I Met You When I Was 18, he’s been rapidly garnering the attention of listeners around the globe and in 2019 alone has collaborated with current pop superstars Troye Sivan, DJ Snake, and Anne-Marie (which landed him on the soundtrack of 13 Reason Why). His soft vocals mixed with catchy pop melodies make for a days worth of listening on repeat and in concert is no different. Playing his hits, deep cuts from IMYWIWE, and brand new material from his forthcoming debut album ~how I’m feeling~, Lauv gave the audience a 21 song setlist to remember. He’s currently making his way around the U.S. until the end of October before he heads overseas and if he’s making a stop in your city, I encourage you to make it out to a show on his trail to becoming the next biggest pop star. Kyle was a his Boston show to take pictures of the night, check out his pictures while you listen to the brand new singles below!
