Now that I don’t live in Gainesville anymore, coming back for a show there makes my time back in town even more special. There’s something so unique about how close knit and welcoming Florida’s DIY scene is and the fact that no matter what, shows there always feels like being around family. Before I moved, Prince Daddy was the last band I saw while they were supporting their new record, Cosmic Thrill Seekers, and this time, I got to see them in a crowd packed with friends as they ripped through the record and closed out with my long time favorite, “Really?”
