1 of our contributors, Alyx, runs a label, Pacific Nature, and they’re putting together their first SXSW showcase, so we’re helping him out with unveiling the sweeeeeet lineup along with a playlist of all the bands. That way you can check out these cool new bands even if you can’t make it to the fest. (drum roll please).
Pacific Nature Records is proud to present our 1st ever (unofficial) SXSW showcase on March 16th in Austin, Texas from Noon – 6:30pm. It’s FREE, and we’re bringing you the best underground and upcoming independent musical acts from around the country for a daytime house show and celebration of friendship.

We’re especially excited to showcase some of our favorite bands from our home state, California, such as awakebutstillinbed, Wander, Young Lovers, Mane, and Ridgeway! Our lineup also includes touring friends, old and new such as Prince Daddy & the Hyena, oldsoul, and Bethlehem Steel! We’ll have drinks and a 2nd stage in the backyard featuring unplugged sets from Derek Ted and a round robin set featuring Bethlehem Steel, Yazan, and Washer. We’re also shaking it up with a special Heavy Snacking interview with Churvel Tragnit of Pictures of Vernon!
