Picture this: Haley behind the steering wheel, Candice in the passenger seat, and me and all their gear packed into the backseat of a kia soul. It’s past midnight and we’re on some empty New England highway, loosing our shit to A Day To Remember. Regardless of how tired we were, how the show went that night, or if the Taco Bell didn’t know what fresco style was, once we got in that car it was a safe space. Every night they would show me music that made them who they are, and i’d go on to capture their magic in homes full of people who were using Haley and Candice’s music to shape their own lives. if i hadn’t found Haley a year ago, i wouldn’t know that DIY existed— but here I am, full circle, full of inspiration, and full of gratitude for the way these two people have become a part of my life.

Candice, the lead vocalist of Florida-based and normally full-band Woolbright, combines bending guitar taps and self-reflection for a sound that is best self-described as “smol rock.”
