Announcement: Pup Talks and Cat Chats

Posted: by admin

Our friends at Punk Talks (the non-profit organization that provides mental health treatment and advice for people in the music industry) are starting a new program where bands touring through Philly can set up some time to hang out with some awesome dogs and cats, who are looking for a home. Its a good time for the musicians and for the animals and helps support a good cause.

All the bands have to do is contact Punk Talks and make a donation to the Morris Animal Refuge before they get to the Philadelphia date of their tour, and a staff member will bring a few dogs or cats to the venue before sound check for the entire tour package to play with, cuddle, and enjoy.

It’s also encouraged for the bands to make some posts on social media with the animals because these pets want to be adopted, and some good social media PR would be a big help.

All in all, it seems like a great idea to help tired musicians and friendly pets. If you’re looking for more info about the program, feel free to contact Punk Talks at and their team will provide you with all the details.
