Album Premiere: Pale Shade – ‘Songs For Disappearing’
Posted: by The Editor
Premiering Songs For Disappearing by Pale Shade! This group is extremely special in their approach, really focusing on layers and atmosphere in their songwriting. Each track has something exciting to offer, with an overall trance like feeling being emitted thanks to the wonderful instrumentation. Opening up with “Bones,” a swelling but beautiful drone piece, the album kicks off into “Sensory” with a fuzzed out lull. The vocals are on the high end throughout the tracks, really giving each track a bit of an eerie presence. Take a listen to the record below!
“For those who feel lost and seek comfort in solitude.” – Pale Shade
“Balancing between shoegaze, lo-fi and slowcore, and hailing from South Jersey, Pale Shade have been known for their exceptionally loud live performances. Slow, heavy and on all counts loud…the epitome of the rising band’s mesmerizing compound of darkness, noisiness and intensity.” – Destroy//Exist
