David Robert is a Midwest-based solo artist playing traditional folk songs with a modern sentiment. His debut untitled EP, “.”, produced by Eli Crews (Lorde, Tune-Yards) at Figure 8 Recordings in New York, finds the middle ground between old world simplicity and hi-fi production. David Robert has a series of regional dates booked to promote his debut and a growing touring schedule this summer and fall; expect to see him in your town this year.
