Pinegrove – ‘Aphasia’ Acoustic Session

The Alternative has a deep love for Pinegrove‘s ‘Aphasia.’ The song is a metaphor for regaining your voice after it has been stripped away. Evan Hall’s twisting emotions are channeled through his cries. Dynamically the song builds to a collapsing moment, “one day I won’t define myself by the one I’m thinking of.” After this the song finds relief, and progresses through the final chords with a mood change.
