Heartless Breakers – “Acoustic Sessions’ EP

I don’t think this record streamed anywhere, and due to that fact, I decided to write an unofficial stream of it. Heartless Breakers, from Salt Lake City, are a rock outfit that released The Great Give Back last year through animal style records. Although the two songs are rereleased tracks done in an acoustic fashion, they are tasteful and possess just as much emotion as the original album versions. “An Aching Kind Of Growing” builds into a magnificent crash of vocals crying out, “don’t be like me” and it’s an emotionally riveting tune to say the least. “Right Mistakes” pulses with a hearty chug, syncopated beautifully for a soft tune. The end is an explosion of vocals pulling at one’s hearts to sing along.
