Water District Release New Single ‘Dear California’

Water District is an indie rock group based out of Los Angeles. Their soft brand of music has captured many people’s ears, being compared to the likes of The Silversun Pickups and The Strokes. The quartet formed in 2012 and have been consistently growing since, releasing their best work to date in the Water District EP last December.
Their newest single, ‘Dear California,’ is a serene glimpse at not wanting to be forgotten in such a large city. The chorus is easy to remember, giving off a melancholy vibe embedded in a jazzy guitar lick. Instead of having a third verse, the guitar takes off into a soulful solo that expels as much emotions as the vocal delivery.
