Dreamcatcher Tour Journal – #1

I’m sitting in my living room in snowy Baltimore, Maryland with my band. Tomorrow we leave for our first tour, and couldn’t be more excited. Our band started in 2012 in a warehouse in the middle of east Baltimore. We spent every spare second we had writing and demoing what would become our debut EP, Wonderlust. Tomorrow, we get to go show people who we are as a band. We’ve spent the last week rehearsing for tour and writing music for our first full length album. I couldn’t be more excited for what the future holds for Dreamcatcher.
I had an idea to do a tour blog and my first thought was to team up with The Alternative. They’ve been so cool to us and we really believe in their vision. We recently teamed up with All Sounds and The Alternative for their compilation (so check that out). The idea behind doing this blog is to show people what it’s like for an up-and-coming band going on their first tour; the struggles, the successes, and everything in between.
