Why You Should Watch: Sometimes you’re looking for a spooky movie to watch on an October night. Trick r’ Treat is just the movie to get you in the feel of the season. Michael Dougherty wrote and directed this wild film in which 4 scary stories interlock on a Halloween night. With werewolves, ghosts, and spirits this movie has it all. The acting is really well done and it’s just scary enough to keep you on your toes. This movie never really got the theatrical release and press that it deserved due to some studio issues and delays (was supposed to be in theaters October 2007 but went straight to DVD in 2009), but it is a great example of a lesser known gem. Make sure to watch it this Halloween, and believe me you will want to rewatch it every October.
Favorite Line: Oh, wait. That’s right. There’s another tradition too. A very important one. Always check your candy.
