Since their latest release I Hate Me in 2019, Taking Meds have been shredding through these tracks like lightning. Playing shows constantly and also taking some interest in filmmaking with some zany and occasionally very dark music videos. Today we are premiering their new video for “Stranger Who Stares.” and its another winner.

The video sticks to the theme of social isolation in the track name and lyrics, and follows a man who is interviewing people in a park. The protagonist seems to be ignored by everyone he asks. Cut between that and the Beatles-esque performance of the track on the roof makes an interesting visual juxtaposition, and of course there is a bittersweet twist ending.

You can watch the video now and stream Taking Med’s album I Hate Me out everywhere now on Near Mint Records!
