Video Premiere: Cold Climb It – You Can’t Let Your Guard Down

Fronted by Matt Brasch of The Wonder Years, the video for You Can’t Let Your Guard Down chronicles being pegged by life’s inconveniences, in this case, water balloons. With the catchy hook “I try to break lose things from the things that try to take a hold on me / my world’s no longer free, at the end of the day it’s you or me so I choose me,” the song focuses on the need to put yourself first.
As the band shares, “The world can be a scary place. Whether it be the news, social media or negative people there always seems to be forces trying to keep you down. No matter how hard you try to keep yourself free of these interactions and factors they always seems to be lurking in the shadows. “You Can’t Let Your Guard Down” is a song dedicated to anyone who is having a hard time dealing with any negativity in their life.”
