Charlotte’s Pullover have crafted the perfect sonic escape in their new single, “Dream Away.” Their follow-up effort to their record, Repossession Blues, achieves the perfect balance of ambience and energy to set up their next release Forever, out 2/07 on Self Aware Records.
Pullover, formerly known as Melt, added Caiti Mason, Nicholas Holman and Brooke Weeks to the lineup alongside founders Phil Pucci and Alex Smith in their reformation. The fuzzy pop outfit brings a stunning, gorgeous daze to their sound that balances loud rock and stunning dream-like quality that makes “Dream Away” unforgettable. Give it a listen below:
Every chord, synth, and drum feels intentionally tucked into a perfect track. The amount of care poured into lyrics, structure, and the overall dynamic nature of “Dream Away” feels organic and loving, light and energetic all at once. The balanced settling of Pucci’s vocals over swirling chords settles like the feeling of reclining after a fun night – satisfying and earned comfort.
In its twinkle-like state, “Dream Away” sets a tone of idyllic reflection that will wow into 2020.
