Video Premiere: Miss Christine – “The Millennial Paradigm”

Posted: by admin

Miss Christine is a project led by vocalist and bassist Christine Moad, who was also a field organizer for the Bernie Sanders campaign and the founder of Musicians 4 Bernie, a group that hosts events with musicians to raise awareness for progressive causes (and a group I have helped out with in the past). So you’d expect that Miss Christine’s music is going to be infused with this progressive political energy, and it it is! They are self described as “indie rock, new wave, blues, and soul influenced music which covers topics ranging from gender, personal strength, relationships, and politics”, and I have to say, that’s a pretty good summary.

Today we are premiering their new track and music video for “The Millennial Paradigm” off their debut full length album Conversion. The band originally had hoped to release this video as part of an ongoing Bernie Sanders campaign, but instead Bernie has suspended his run, and we are stuck in Covid lockdown. Despite the change, the song and video are still inspiring.

Take a listen, and be on the lookout for more from Miss Christine coming your way soon.

Conversion was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Brett Ryan Stewart of Wirebird Productions. The music video was created by Duende Vision.
