A few weeks ago we premiered a video from Columbia South Carolina’s Happy, a pop punk band bringing some fresh flavors to the genre. Today we are premiering another new track from them, “Winona Ryder”! Take a listen below. No, the track’s not about Winona Ryder. It has almost a My Chemical Romance/Alkaline Trio/AFI vibe to it though so I think you’ll still be into it.

From the band: We chose Winona Ryder as the second single from the album because it showcases some of the darker side of the record. The song is about falling into a dark place in your life and bringing people you love down with you, whether intentional or not. Misery loves company. The song doesn’t say anything about the actress, I just personally love Winona Ryder.
