Whether it’s a leap of faith or a step toward trust, “Parallels” tackles emotions around uncertainty. Alright dives deep into the mixture feelings of what’s next in their energetic single, “Parallels.” The Charlotte act showcases their high-energy chemistry with such tight songwriting that reflects moments of uncertainty and curiosity.

The single off of their upcoming debut record, I’m Doing This to Myself, is a flawless example of their unforgettable energy and chemistry. From timed build-ups in rhythm to shredding thick guitar, everything about “Parallels” showcases the kind of organic, kinetic energy the band offers both live and on a record.

The real moment that strikes sharp is in here: “Do I trust myself or do I just let everything fall apart/Do I trust myself or do I just fade?” At the heart of this rocking, upbeat blast is the central question of, do I trust myself enough to take a chance?

Vocalist Sarah Blumenthal shines bright with her inflective performance, with the caliber of emotion matched in every single lyric belted. Tied tightly with melodic guitars and perfect dashes of fuzz, Alright has created their own exact brand of fuzzy indie rock.
