Split Premiere: Hechael / Fit The Bill

Posted: by The Editor

Hechael and Fit The Bill are both Michigan-based bands whose music evokes a forgotten era where pop punk dominated the scene. On one hand there’s Hechael, whose sound veers into early Modern Baseball territory, and then there’s Fit The Bill, who skew closer towards 2000s acts like Blink 182 and Simple Plan. This is the kind of music that, for me personally, takes me back to simpler times in junior high and high school where life was carefree and my responsibilities were practically nonexistent, the kind of comforting songs that many of us could use right now. The two groups have teamed up together for a split, which you can stream below, featuring three brand new tracks from Hechael and two from Fit The Bill. So set your away message on AIM, grab some Dunkaroos from the cupboard, and get to listening.

The Hechael / Fit The Bill EP is out tomorrow. You can pre-order vinyl through Here Goes Nothing Records.
