Today, June 5 as well as July 3rd, Bandcamp will be waiving their share of fees to support artists. On Friday, June 19th, Bandcamp will be donating 100% of their share of sales to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund to support their work. We’ve complied a playlist and various resources for you to donate and discover new artists. This list is not a comprehensive list and you can send us artists to add to our playlist on social media @getalternative.

A playlist put together using a list compiled by Stepanie O’Byrne (linked below), a list by our editor and host of Angry Grrrl Music,Amanda Starling, and various suggestions. Discover new artists and make sure to buy their music if you have the means. Bandcamp has put together a list of “artists and labels preparing special releases for Friday, including those donating their share to organizations in support of racial justice and change.” Some of these labels include Citrus City, Counter Intuitive, Exploding in Sound and Get Better Records.
