Vundabar kicked off their “Drew Is In BIG Trouble” tour on October 24th at BSP Kingston with Top Nachos and Dolly Spartans, two New Paltz bands, and it was amazing.

Vundabar never fails to bring smiles to those around them — between songs, Brandon often jokingly spoke in some sort of midwestern accent and he and his bandmates told jokes. Speaking to the audience so much made it a intimate and fun performance. During songs, Brandon would jump around the stage and onto amps, swing his guitar back and forth, and sing with so much expression and passion.

Just the day prior to the show, Vundabar released a two-track 7-inch. The two songs are fun, upbeat, and have that wonderful sound we all know and love to be unique to Vundabar. Even with its recent released, fans danced and sang along to Acetone and Glass Hand, belting out choruses. The singles are instant hits. Additionally, Vundabar played classics off Gawk and Antics.

Vundabar is truly a special band. Definitely be sure to check out their tour dates and see if they’re coming to a city near you. Check out my photos from the show below.
