Video Premiere: Superhaunted – “Jason Waterfalls”

Posted: by The Editor

The video itself may be a glorious artistic haze, but Superhaunted itself is emerging bright and brilliant. The Miami band has churned out their latest record, Comfort Zone, which opens a new chapter with a fresh lineup and rich songwriting.

“Jason Waterfalls” fits beautifully into Superhaunted’s well-blended catalogue of indie rock, emo, and pop punk. The high-energy track addresses shifting emotional weight in relationships and at times, self-care. Vocalist Nick Nottebaum delivers lyrically and sonically on his promise to try be stronger – and if that’s any indication for the full-length record, we’re all in for songs packed with speed and gravitating lyrics.

Florida as a whole is the best kept secret for deep guitar riffs and contagious pop punk. They’re the coveted utility player of independent music, easily making a space on any DIY line-up. Superhaunted joins the ranks of renowned rockers that leave nothing short of a powerful impression with their deep dives into a variety of sounds and emotions.

There’s also a surprise at the end if you’re a fan of four-legged good bois.

Comfort Zone is available December 20 on all streaming platforms.
