Video Premiere: Beach Bod- “If I Call You Please Don’t Answer I Can’t Handle It”

Premiering the new video for “If I Call You Please Don’t Answer I Can’t Handle It” off of surf-pop band Beach Bod‘s debut effort, Carpal Summer. Based out of the Poconos Mountains of Pennsylvania, guitarist Rachel Wild and drummer Nathan Avila, who share vocals and were both previously in the band Handheld, along with bassist Tyler Devine make up the three-piece band that self-recorded and released Carpal Summer last year.
The ephemeral nature of this track, the shortest off of the six-song collection that already runs just under 20 minutes, only adds to the pleasant haziness of the music. And set to a backdrop of abstract imagery, it evokes a cool and dreamy atmosphere, that can appeal to fans of Sales, the Walters, and Jay Som.
