Track Premiere: The Planet You – “Porque No Los Dos?”

New Jersey’s The Planet You aren’t afraid to draw outside the lines and experiment with tempos, sounds, and energies you wouldn’t normally find in a DIY band’s repertoire. We are excited to be premiering their newest track “Porque No Los Dos” now, off their self-titled album coming out later this year.
Take a listen below, and if you like what you hear, I definitely recommend that you catch them live. Not only are they able to pull off these tracks live, but they do so with an energy I’ve rarely seen matched by a band of any size.

This song and many of the other songs on the album are much darker in nature that any of our previous works. The process of this song was to extend past the technical aspects of our music to create moments, rather than riffs upon riffs. The lyrical content provides two sides of the same coin and how trying to find a balance between them can only be achieved through time itself. It touches upon the idea of the unknown versions of yourself you will come to understand or not understand in the future.
