Track Premiere: France Camp—’Your Bicep’

France Camp are from Minneapolis, but the surfy psych-rock band could easily be mistaken for West Coast inhabitants. On their first single single since 2015, “Your Bicep,” which we’re premiering below, they boogie through a foot-tapping rhythm that’s strapped with a noodly yet melodic rock ‘n’ roll riff. It’s a non-threatening, “oo”-laced jaunt until its final 30 seconds, when a screeching hot rod of a guitar solo peels out of the boppy lead.
It’s the first single from an EP called Dark Floral that’s out 5/17 via psych/indie conglomerate Forged Artifacts. Stream it here:
