PREMIERE: Dikembe cover Superdrag’s ‘Sucked Out’ with Carly from Slingshot Dakota

The Florida alt-emo trio Dikembe released one of our favorite records of 2016 and are already promising to deliver an album’s worth of material in 2017. The band plans to release one cover song every month throughout the year, each one featuring guest vocals from other musicians within the scene including Bob Nana, Max Stern (Signals Midwest) and many more. Other bands they will cover include Green Day, Shellac, Frank Ocean, and The Pixies. This is going to be great.
We are lucky enough to premiere the first cover of the series which is Superdrag’s 1996 hit “Sucked Out” with guest vocals from Carly Comando of Slingshot Dakota. The band sounds like they’re having a fun time jamming through this quintessential 90s alt-rock anthem.
