Pinegrove at Mantua Yacht Club

Since this was my first time seeing Pinegrove live, I had extremely high expectations. I had been playing “Everything So Far” on repeat on my Spotify since its release, and “Angelina” had remained open in YouTube as a tab for more weeks than I’d care to admit. When Jeremy Berkin, one of the homeowners of the Mantua Yacht Club, told me they’d be playing there, I couldn’t have been more excited. So I got ready to turn up on a Tuesday and finally was able to witness Run For Cover’s newest wunderkinds in action.
This has easily been one of the greatest performances I’ve seen come through this basement, and I’ve seen some pretty great acts come through this past year. My greatest struggle in each moment was deciding whether to shoot or to jam along.
